What Followers of Yeshua The Messiah Can Learn From Geese

Flying in Formation, startling facts about a flock flying in formation and what we can learn from it as well...Flying in Formation, A Community Project, from the Book.."Elders and Leaders, God's plan for leading the Church" Gene A. Getz Mood Bible Publishers.

When I read this particular reference to "Geese flying in formation", it touched my heart because of the unity and care these creatures of Elohim have for one another. How much more, those of us who are created in the image of our Creater YHVH Elohim should we have love and concern for one another as well.

Consider The Startling Facts about a Flock Flying In Formation

A Picture of Unity & Teamwork and Yes, Love

As each goose flaps it's wings, it creates an "uplift" for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the flock adds 71 percent greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.
When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of him
When the lead bird tires, it rotates back into the formation to take advantapower of the bird immediately in front of it.
The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up there speed.
When a bird gets sick, wounded, or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.

Ecc 4:9-12

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.

For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.

Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone?

And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Ephesians 4:11-32

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.

But you did not learn Messiah in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Yeshua, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

and put on the new self, which in the likeness of YHVH has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH, EACH ONE of you, WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.

BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.

Let him who steals steal no longer; but rather let him labor, performing with his own hands what is good, in order that he may have something to share with him who has need.

Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Messiah also has forgiven you.

To Tithe or Not To Tithe That is the Question or is IT?

To Tithe or not to tithe that is the question and debate. Is it scriptural? Above is a link to an article by Nathan Lawrence regarding the subject of tithing.

It really puzzles me why those who call themselves Messianic Believers say that tithing is unscriptural. If we truly believe this message of redemption and salvation we will put our money where our mouth is. Truth is only about 5% of Christians tithe and we wonder why we have not been able to do all that we need to do to preach the Kingdom to the lost.

Reality check....It takes money to run a Congregation, a Ministry, A website, A Radio Program, to produce media, tracts, feed the hungry, take care of the widows and the orphans etc. etc.

When we stand before Yahweh and we have to give account of what we did with the money He entrusted us with to proclaim this precious truth are you really going to tell Him "Well, tithing is not scriptural, therefore I did not give".

We have the secular world pouring millions of dollars into propaganda that is going to send people to hell, while in the mean time we are looking for loop holes in the law in order to get out of tithing and giving to further the TRUTH that will set people free and bring them eternal life. Who has the mixed up priorities now?

I work a 40 hour a week job, run 4 minstries i.e Our Congregation, Radio Program, Conferences, Yeshiva School on top of the 40 hour work week. We also give above to support the work of the minstry above and beyond 10%. Why??? Because we believe we have the truth and it is worth every sacrifice, both time wise and financially to make sure the truth is told. What is TRUTH? His Torah/Word is Truth, Messiah Yeshua is Truth.

Do we really believe this? Then why do only 5% tithe, when it should be 100%?

I hope you prayerfully read this article and search the scriptures and repent of making money your god. Because if you are not tihing and giving to support the work of the Kingdom then money is more important then the truth and obedience.

As a Messianic Jew and one who has served Yeshua our Messiah for over 35 years, it is appauling to see those who claim to love the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus who is a Jew spew out this poisen against the Jewish people.

Not every Christian is guilty of this, however many main line denominations are bringing a curse upon themselves by teaching Replacement Theology and joining G-d's enemies against Israel.

G-d choose Israel to bring His Word to the World, to bring Redemption through Messiah Yeshua and the writers of the New Testament were also Jewish.

The Jews did not kill Jesus! Yes some corrupt leaders both Jewish and Gentile had their hand in it, however Yeshua came to give His life as a ransom for many. Nobody took His life, He gave it willingly and by the power of G-d was raised from the dead to forever stand at the Father's right hand. It was only that generation who rejected him as Messiah that were judged by being sent out of the land. However, G-d has now brought them back into the land because He is in the process of restoring ALL of Israel (Read Ezekiel 37 & Romans 9,10 & 11) We have perverted the truth of Yeshua by blaming the Jews for His death!

The Church wonders why Jewish people reject the Jesus the Church presents to them, read your Church History of the Pogoms that were done in the name of Jesus! If you want to point fingers, point them at yourself and repent of using Jesus name to murder Jews.

Every Christian needs to repent of the sins of their forfathers who have participated in any form of anti-semitism. Anti-semitism brings a curse upon you and your family line if you do not repent.

Listen to my Podcast on the Mikveh Process and ask YHWH to cleanse you and forgive you of any anti- semitism in your blood line and start praying for the Jewish people that their eyes will be open to the true JEWISH Messiah Yeshua. Study your Hebrew Roots and find out what are the acceptable days of Worship and what are the acceptable Feasts of G-d. We should be thankful to the Jewish people for preserving the ways of G-d according to His Word.

I would also dare to say that Israel has contributed more to the worlds betterment through Science, Medicine, Literature, The Arts, Inventions then any other nation of the world and has contributed many Noble Peace winners.

It is time to stop following the traditions of men and start walking in obedience to His Word.

Divine Order

I believe we are entering into a Season of Divine order. As we begin the book of Numbers in chapters 1 to 4 we see YHWH putting the camp and leadership in the order that HE wants it to be.

It is time to stop trying to walk in others callings, trying to push our own agendas and start using the gifts and walking in the position that He has placed you in.   We see in Numbers that getting out of Divine order is dangerous and YHWH will judge it quickly. We see this in the story of Korah where he was not satisfied with the job YHWH gave him but wanted Moses position and he was quickly judged and all of those who joined his rebellion.

It is Yeshua who decides who will be the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor/Rabbi, who has what gift and who has what abilities. Our job is to obey in keep in formation.

It is not about ME it is not about YOU it is about HIS KINGDOM. All the gifts are given for one purpose and one purpose only and thati is to build His Kingdom not our own.

First item of order; ask YHWH to lead you to the Congregation He wants you to be at, and be faithful. Ask Him how you can serve Him in that community and if He tells you He wants you to clean toilets, then do it with joy! We have to be willing to serve Him no matter what, even if we think it is beneath our dignity. He is the one who promotes, He is the one who puts who He wants to in leadership positions.

Stop going from Congregation to Congregation and pushing your own agenda, causing strife and splits. If you feel that He has called you to be a Pastor or Rabbi then you better be willing to pay the price. It will cost you everything, but if you are truly called then you will be willing to do whatever it takes to reach your Communities for Him. The same goes for any leadership position.

If you want to understand Divine Order, you need to study the Tabernacle and also the book of Numbers.   The Bible is a book of order, leadership and unity. We are living in a time, I believe where YHWH is not going to put up with rebellion in the camp, there is to much at stake - people!

YHWH appointed Yeshua as the Head of The Body of Messiah and His people Israel. He appoints the leadership, the leadership gets there orders from Him, through the Ruach HaKodesh and conveys those orders to His people. When we get into Devine Order we will see the ResTORAHation of all things in Messiah Yeshua.

Where there is Chaos, ha satan is at work. If you are the one causing the chaos then you are taking your orders from him not YHWH.    Our Elohim is not the author of confusion, He is total order.

Let's start using our gifts for His glory and walk in Divine order for His Kingdom and for His glory!

We are living in a day where spiritual warfare is heating up. It is not the time to run and hide, but a time to stand firm on His word and to interceed and pray and not forsake the assembly of ourselves together.

Everyday we see natural disastors multiply, believers straying from the word and believing a lie instead of the truth, Islam slowing creepin in to take over our freedoms that we hold dear in America. It can become overwelming at times, if we did not have YHWH on our side and the power of the Ruach HaKodesh and our Messiah Yeshua interceeding for us.

On the other hand there is a ResTORAHation going on in the Body of Messiah as well. Where those who are hungering after HIS TRUTH and finding out who they really are in Messiah and taking hold of their Hebraic Heritage. There is a growing army of people who will not compromise even in the midst of Babylon. They are the ones that have Messiah and obey His Torah as prophesied in Revelation.

There is a great awakening happening as fortold in Ezekial 37. YHWH is regathering His people Judah and Eprhaim from the 4 corners of the earth.

They are the voices Crying Out in The Wilderness, repent and prepare the way for Yeshua's return.

They are the Grafted in Ones, who are becoming 1 stick in His hand, no longer to be divided but United in Messiah.

They are the ones who refuse to compromise but are holding fast to His Way, His Truth and His Life - The Torah and The Living Torah Messiah Yeshua.

They are the ones who have turned from idolatry and the paganism that has infilitrated the Church and have said NO MORE, as for me and my house we will serve YHWH.
